Recap LA Tech Week and Shopify POS Was a Hit

On Saturday, October 19th, we hosted our much-anticipated Shopify Stroll & Shop event, brought to you by LA Tech Week, Shopify and Sunrise Integration. We must say, it was a huge success! We welcomed a great turnout in Eagle Rock, CA of eager merchants excited to learn more about Shopify and Shopify POS for their retail stores. The event was filled with exclusive insights, live demos, and some tasty treats, all while attendees explored two amazing local stores – The Mighty Luchador and The Honest Bottle Shop. What Went Down: A Fun Day of Learning, Demos, and Swag

Attendees had the option to visit either The Mighty Luchador, known for its eclectic collectibles, or The Honest Bottle Shop, famous for its fine wines and wine tastings. Both stores showcased their unique Shopify setups, giving participants a firsthand look at how Shopify and Shopify POS have transformed their businesses.

 

We gave away donuts and swag from Shopify and Sunrise Integration, and provided 1-on-1 consultations for those looking to dive deeper into Shopify’s capabilities. The highlight for many was the official Shopify POS demo, which allowed merchants to see the seamless integration between online and in-store sales. Plus, attendees had the chance to ask Dean, our CTO, any burning questions about Shopify and how it could work for them. The Mighty Luchador's quirky products were a huge hit, while The Honest Bottle Shop’s wine tastings kept things flowing—literally!
